Alexander Kobrin – A gold medalist at the Van Cliburn competition, Mr. Kobrin has won first prizes and awards at many other international competitions as well. He has performed at major concert venues throughout the world and concertized with the great orchestras of the world and in recital to critical acclaim. His discography is substantial and well received: his Schumann recording was included as one of the top five classical albums of 2015, and his newly released CD featuring Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky won the Critic Award in Fanfare. Also recognized for his pedagogical abilities, Mr. Kobrin currently serves as a professor at Eastman School of Music, one of the top music conservatories in the country. As part of his current project of performing all thirty-two Beethoven sonatas, Mr. Kobrin will be performing an all-Beethoven program.
