Anna Han

Described by the Washington Post as “prodigiously gifted… a display of imagination, taste and pianistic firepower far beyond her years,” Ms. Han is the first prize winner of the 2016 Juilliard Gina Bachauer Piano Competition and the 2012 New York International Piano Competition, a prize winner in other competitions over the last decade, and a 2014 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. Ms. Han has performed with orchestras and chamber groups and as a soloist throughout the United States, and her performances have also been featured on radio. Her recording of Michael Brown’s Suite for Piano, a composition that she herself debuted, was released in February of this year. Ms. Han is currently a student of Robert McDonald at The Juilliard School, as recipient of the Kovner Fellowship. She will be playing Schumann’s Piano Sonata #1, Ravel’s Sonatine, Saint-Saens’ Danse Macabre and other works.
